Youth Travel
Amherst Knights Travel Hockey
The Amherst Knights Travel hockey program is a youth travel hockey program that provides players with opportunities to compete at the Tier 1 AAA and AA levels. The program is open to both boys and girls and is designed to offer high-level training and development to players who are interested in playing hockey at a competitive level.
The program's travel teams are selected annually from a competitive tryout that takes place after the winter season. During the tryout process, players are evaluated on a range of skills, including skating, shooting, passing, and teamwork. The tryouts are designed to be fair and transparent, and players are selected based on their performance and potential to contribute to the team's success.
The Amherst Knights Travel program is committed to providing players with the best possible coaching and training. The coaching staff is made up of experienced hockey volunteers who are dedicated to helping players improve their skills and develop a passion for the sport. The program's training and development programs are designed to be challenging and engaging, with a focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
In addition to providing players with high-quality coaching and training, the Amherst Knights Travel program is also committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for all players. The program values diversity and inclusivity and works hard to ensure that all players feel welcome and valued. By providing players with opportunities to compete at the highest levels of youth hockey while fostering a positive and inclusive environment, the Amherst Knights Travel program is making a valuable contribution to the development of youth sports in the community.
